Personalised gifts could be presented during Chinese New Year
The Chinese New Year is fast approaching and people whose birthdays fall on the year of the rabbit may find themselves receiving personalised gifts.
On February 3rd the year of the tiger will be replaced by the year of the rabbit and individuals considering celebrating in the capital have been advised of the best time to visit.
Sunday February 6th will see London's main celebrations take place, with the Chinese community commemorating the new year on the day itself, the London Chinatown Chinese Association's festival director and vice-president Suzannah Kwok explained.
As such, people who have yet to purchase personalised gifts for loved ones may decide to swap such presents at the main event.
"Just come down and soak up the atmosphere. Try some traditional delicacies and make sure you get a good view of the stage for our spectacular closing show," she asserted.
Celebrations will take place at Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square and Shaftesbury Avenue.
