William and Kate not expecting wedding gifts from Fergie
Prince William and Kate Middleton will not be expecting any wedding gifts from Sarah Ferguson, as the Duchess of York has not been invited to their marriage ceremony.
The ex-wife of William's uncle Prince Andrew will be overseas when the nuptials take place on April 29th, however a source revealed the former royal had anticipated she would not be attending.
Some 1,900 guests have been sent invitations, among them Ferguson's daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie as well as friends of the couple, family members, dignitaries, members of other royal households and representatives of the Prince's charities.
A spokesman for the Duchess has also revealed that she has declined to comment on the royal wedding and has been busy working on an upcoming documentary for Oprah Winfrey's new television network.
Meanwhile, Earl Spencer - the brother of the late Princess Diana - is set to receive wedding gifts in June as it was revealed he proposed to his charity worker partner.
The groom-to-be popped the question to Karen Gordon who founded the Whole Child International organisation and the pair will wed at the Spencer family home.
