Kelsey Could Colin Firth receive engraved gifts for Oscar win?
Engraved gifts could be on the way to Colin Firth from well-wishers after he was voted Best Actor at the Academy Awards last night (February 27th) in Los Angeles.
The British celebrity - who is also known for starring roles in A Single Man, Bridget Jones' Diary and Pride and Prejudice - achieved the prestigious Oscar for his performance as George VI in The King's Speech.
The English A-lister said during his acceptance address: "I have a feeling my career's just peaked."
Fellow Brit Tom Hooper took home a famous gold statuette for Best Director for the movie and thanked Firth and co-star Geoffrey Rush for the success of the film.
Last week, engraved gifts in the form of Rolex watches were given to Bruno Mars and his bandmate Philip Lawrence from record bosses as a thank you for their success.
The Sun reported, however, that Mars's gift box was empty, leaving the singer baffled as an assistant had neglected to collect it after the inscription had been made.
