Paris Hilton may try to wangle her way onto the guest list for Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage celebration using lavish wedding gifts, as it has been revealed that the heiress would love to attend.

An insider told the Daily Star that the reality star was "desperate" to go to the royal event and claimed she is using all her contacts to try and score herself a seat at the monarchic nuptials.

"Paris is a massive fan of the royals and counts Princess Di among her idols, so she's desperate to be seen at the wedding. She knows it will be an event not to be missed," the source revealed.

Hilton famously encountered Prince William at the upmarket London nightclub Whisky Mist in 2008 where it was said they exchanged telephone numbers.

Meanwhile, Kate Moss's old flame Jefferson Hack may be planning what wedding gifts to bring to celebrate the supermodel's forthcoming marriage to Jamie Hince, as the Daily Mail has reported the star has invited her ex to the ceremony.
