Personalised gifts to be part of Mr Men's 40th anniversary promotion?
Personalised gifts could be used as part of the promotions surrounding the 40th anniversary of the Mr Men franchise.
The characters, who are the property of TV production firm Chorion are to be involved in a four-month campaign, which will feature retail partnerships, digital offerings and social media, Marketing Magazine reports.
In an effort to promote the "Celebrating 40 years of fun" brand message, the Mr Men will team up with fashion companies and are expected to participate in an in-store promotion at a London retailer.
Similarly, the Little Miss arm of the franchise is set to join forces with Nails Inc in releasing a range of limited-edition varnishes.
The publication went on to reveal that a number of partnerships are already in the works, including plans to create giant chocolate Mr Men from Thorntons and an exclusive agreement with Tesco on branded sweets.
Originally created by Roger Hargreaves in 1971, the Mr Men soared in popularity and rocketed on to television with their 1975 series, which was narrated by Arthur Lowe.
